What is Kidsclothes™ about?
Kidsclothes™ is about providing undergarments, toothbrushes and toothpaste for children. The immediate focus is six pair of underpants and six pair of socks for each child, with other apparel being added as we receive donations. We have provided over 996,787 pieces to date.
Which children do we target?
Those in need. We work with social agencies, schools, health departments, and other resource centers to locate children who can benefit from our clothing on a year-round basis. We want to make a difference in the life of every child we touch. Each child needs to know someone cares...about him...about her.
Who manages Kidsclothes™?
The two founders, E.J. Golightly and John Ridoux manage Kidsclothes™. We have honorary directors who have dedicated their efforts and total support to meet the challenges.
100% of all donations goes towards the purchase of new socks, underwear, toothpaste, and toothbrushes for the children. Yes, that's what we said - 100% - all donations go towards new items for the kids. A private donor pays all overhead costs.
Our directors have established two non-negotiable rules/regulations pertaining to items provided by Kidsclothes™.
1. Clothes must be distributed to needy families with children, and every care must be taken to assure compliance. We prefer a distribution level of six (6) pair per child.
2. No items provided by Kidsclothes™ will be sold under any circumstances.
What do we need from you?
We need referrals. We need names of agencies who can distribute the clothing. And we need contributions. We strive to be good stewards of your contributions by giving maximum focus to the needs of children.
